Transport - Welburn Hall School

Most of our students get to and from school by transport as arranged via North Yorkshire Council. The onus is on parents to arrange this directly with the Send transport team - see their web page here.

For new students we urge parents to complete the required information for transport assessment as soon as they receive confirmation of their child’s place at Welburn Hall. The transport team do need time to make appropriate arrangements.

Summer is a particularly busy time and the deadline for applications to have transport ready for September - is usually towards the end of June.
Speak to your caseworker for further information about this.

The caseworker or parent can contact the SEND Transport Team to request an individual assessment.
