Welburn Hall School lunch is provided by NYES Catering Service, who aim to provide local, fresh, good quality food to schools.
NES Catering follow a healthy eating policy, with 75% of their food produced daily in a school kitchen.
You can learn more about them here, including their school meals food policy.

Current school lunch cost is £2.75 per day - £13.75 per week and is paid for via ParentPay.

Menus run from Weeks 1, 2 and 3. The new term starts with Week 1 and that sequence continues through into half terms.
The menu is always on the front of our weekly newsletter.
The menus change each term and these are emailed out to parents just before the end of term.

NYES Catering can provide special diets as required and parents are asked to complete Special Diet 1 (SD1) form and return to the school office.SD1 forms are included in your Welcome Pack.

Free School Meals

Free school meals are available for children whose parents receive certain benefits.
Young people, such as some of our College Students, who receive income support in their own right, are also entitled to free school meals.

Free school meal applications are made via North Yorkshire Council - see their web page here.
For those who do qualify for any of the financial support listed on the council website,we ask that parents please do apply for free meals. Not only does this save you money it allows us to claim Pupil Premium Funding to further support your children at school.

Welburn Hall offers day and boarding places to boys and girls aged between 8-19 years who are identified as having special educational needs. There is a main school, and separate college unit for post 16 students.
