What a busy summer term we are having already

Posted 8/5/2017

We have spent time spring cleaning all the classrooms, trying to declutter and make excellent learning environments for all our pupils. Our older pupils in Key Stage 4 and College, are very busy completing accreditation and their teachers are working very hard to moderate and maximise their achievements. We wish them all every success, they deserve it!

We are preparing our Year 14 for their transition into adult life. We are rightly very proud of our leavers' outcomes. All of our 2016 leavers transitioned to education, employment or training and regardless of need, reached a high level of independence. We know this is because of our 'waking hours' curriculum in College and we are currently working on developing this 16-19 offer further.

This term, we have lots of key events in school. Parents and carers are invited to support and attend extra-curricular activities such as the Garden Party, Sports Days, annual concert and play. These are all part of the rich and varied education on offer at Welburn. We hope to see you there!!
